What Does it Mean to Become a Stockholder?
To be a stockholder means to be a small owner in the course. The golf course has 1000 outstanding shares all held by individuals or other corporations; and each share represents a small part of the company. Being a stockholder also gets you a few benefits, from getting discounts on your annual membership, invites and discounts on course events, and voting rights at the annual meeting on any current needs.
How Do I Become a Stockholder?
To become a stockholder, you will have to purchase from an individual or corporation selling. Once a deal has been made between two parties, the transfer has to be approved by the board of directors to issue a new certificate. A list of those selling can be found under the shareholder tab on the website, the bulletin board in the clubhouse, or by emailing us at golfeagleglen@gmail.com
