What Does it Mean to be a Stockholder?
To be a stockholder means you get to be a small owner in the course! The course has 1000 outstanding shares all held by individuals or other corporations; and each share represents a small portion of the company. Being a stockholder also gets you a few benefits from getting discounts on your annual memberships, invites and/or discounts to course events, and voting rights at the annual meeting on any current needs.
How Do I Become a Stockholder?
To become a stockholder, you will have to purchase from an individual or company selling. Once a deal is made between two parties, the transfer has to be approved by the board of directors for a new share certificate. A list or sellers can be found in the clubhouse on the bulletin board or email Sammie at golfeagleglen@gmail.com for an updated list.
